Warm & cozy in pink..
Nothing beats a hot cup of coffee and making yourself cozy in a coat this Winter..

You stand in front of your wardrobe, stare at the hangers full of choices, twirling your hair or crossing your arms, waiting for something to jump out at you because you can't decide what to wear.
Daily ritual right?
We also have those running late and grabbing whatever looks good enough to pass us through the hectic days on end..
Whatever your dilemma or stand off with your wardrobe, it's easy to say that winter has a certain spell. A spell that includes all things comfort, coziness and layers on layers on layers.
That's what I LOVE about the colder weather. No matter where you go, what you do and what outfit you'd like to next pull off, it's so simple when layers becomes a must.
Think about it: Cami. Sweater (Oversized please). Coat. Scarf. Maybe a beanie or floppy hat. Add a pair of your favorite jeans, pants or skirt with those cute ankle or knee high boots and you're out the door.
Simple right?
What I especially appreciate about this pink Forever New coat are the details that seamlessly ease into the overall look. Its easy to see the pretty in pink from afar, but take a closer look and you'll adore how the buttons are not just a must for a wind proof moment, but also a beautiful accessory.
The pockets have a silk lining that make it easy to feel even more comfortable on those long walks with your other half or catch up with your friends. I don't know about you, but pockets are like the gold at the end of a rainbow. Weird way to describe it but hey, we all have perks we can't get rid of and use to make ourselves explained. Does that make sense?
Let's also not forget the silk lining behind the collar - you can't see it too clearly but take a look here and see if you notice it.
To be fair though, I've only noticed it just before these photos were taken, and I promise you I couldn't stop smiling. I know it's just a little thing to even notice but I'm all about the details.
I paired this light pink coat with very simple pieces. My new H&M light wash jeans. They are super soft, they mold to your body shape and are highwaisted enough to support the areas around the waist, and also provide as a perfect tuck shirt into jeans kind of look.
My white Converse are just that. White and perfect for all intense and purposes. You can also use any white or light colored sneakers you own. This outfit was so simple to put together and with every different style and fashion sense out there, it's so easy to find other ways to style this coat.
I wasn't sure what bag to add so I thought why not do a camouflage with this pink one also from Forever New. It has so much room for everything you wont need but take with you anyway, and it's structured so well that nothing despite it's normal-small size, you won't risk it becoming Narnia for that lip balm you can't seem to find. Check our their site for more ranges in bags. Everything you need, from small to oversized to night out, they have them.
Finally I've finished off this w e e k e n d look with minimalist jewelry from Pandora and Micheal Hill, and one of the SOFTEST shirts from Cotton On Body. Granted, this one is from the Intimates/Nightwear collection, but why not right.
Oh. And how could I forget. A mandatory coffee shot for this coffee addict is needed right? Here's to trying Matcha Latte for the first time, at the ever beautiful new hidden spot The Kimchi Project.
Speaking of Matcha, there might be an excited collaboration coming soon.. it kind of included coffee, organics and all sorts of baked goods. Keep your eyes pealed..
