Comfort at your fingertips - HASHTAG Weekend!
That sigh of relief when you realize the last few hours of Friday night are transforming into the WEEKEND!! I know, me too! LOVE that feeling...
And you know what is synonymous to that magical word?? Hmmm maybe c o m f o r t and something a little s i m p l e.
When comfort pops into mind, and it's one of those days that I'll end up running around the city like a headless chicken, I always lean towards my trusty Levis. This specific pair are custom made so they are sadly one of a kind, but I am plenty sure you can find your own favorite pair in any Levis store.
ANY pair of light jeans that you feel fit like a glove and are so easy to both run and sit around in, then those are the ones you choose. Remember, it's ALL about comfort!
White Tee!!
Repeat, WHITE TEE!! One of the best staples any wardrobe should own! No really. It's a total life saver especially when you think you have that cute flower top ironed but it's still only Saturday morning so instead, you just stick with the basics.
I love finding ways to style this one! I found this gorgeous, simple and so very SOFT round collar white tee at H&M but I also have a few pairs that are just as great from Dotti.
I added a vintage Levis belt. This one I have had for years but it's a very simple and basic design. Any black belt will look great. I just thought it pulled the entire look together.
Effortless but still with streetstyle at the ready.
To finish off the look, I've added one of my all time favorite holy grail boots from Steve Madden. I think I purchased these a few winters back and have been wearing them non stop. If you look at my Instagram you might see what I mean.
They are both super soft, the leather makes it so easy to slip on and off. Plus it has the longest laces which yes, on certain "rushing-to-work-far-too-early-in-the-morning-with-one-eye-shut" can be a problem. BUT it's so convenient to keep the top of the boot close to your ankle. Perfect for both rainy days and like this shooting day, a sunny winter morning.
And for those girls that are on the tall side, the heel in my opinion is the perfect height. It's a chunky heel too so hello comfort!!
